Who We Are

Our Mission

Housing is more than a place to live. It is the foundation for opportunity.

Our Story

40+ years building pathways to affordable housing across New York.

For more than 40 years, NYC Housing Partnership has helped expand affordable housing across New York City and beyond through innovative public-private partnerships. What began as a mission to build affordable homes has grown into a comprehensive platform that helps New Yorkers rent, buy, and remain stably housed.

Today, through our Pathways to Housing initiatives, we combine housing development, homeownership education, financial capability programs, and strategic partnerships to create new opportunities for individuals and families across the region.

Together with community partners, lenders, developers, and public agencies, we are working to ensure that housing opportunity remains within reach for generations to come.

Our Values

Housing Opportunity

Housing is the foundation for economic mobility, community stability, and generational wealth.

Equity & Access

We work to expand access to housing opportunities for historically underserved communities.

Partnerships

We collaborate with communities, financial institutions, developers, and government to create housing solutions that no single organization could achieve alone.

Innovation

We develop new tools, programs, and partnerships that expand housing access in a changing housing market.

Impact & Accountability

We measure our success by the families we serve, the homes we create, and the lasting change we help build in communities.

People First

Housing is about people. Our work centers the lived experiences and aspirations of the households we serve.
