Malcolm McGregor
Chief Asset Management Officer
Malcolm McGregor is the Chief Asset Management Officer of the Housing Partnership Development Corporation, leading the newly created Asset Management/Housing Stability Unit. The unit strengthens asset management capacity across New York City's affordable housing ecosystem, helping convert distressed properties into stable, performing assets through earlier risk identification, tighter stakeholder coordination, and stronger follow-through before issues become crises.
A senior housing finance and policy leader with over 15 years of experience at the intersection of the real estate capital markets and affordable housing, Mr. McGregor joins the Housing Partnership from the Federal Housing Finance Agency, where he served as Senior Policy Analyst in the Office of Multifamily Analytics and Policy. Previously, he was Director of Policy and Analytics at the NYC Housing Development Corporation, and Senior Project Manager at the NYC Department of Housing Preservation and Development. Earlier in his career, he worked in the private sector as a property manager.
Malcolm holds a Master of Public Policy from the University of Virginia's Frank Batten School of Leadership and Public Policy, and a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science from the University of Virginia.
