Developers, bankers, community groups, affordable housing advocates, public officials and others committed to the mission of expanding workforce housing in the five boroughs, will gather to celebrate the 34th anniversary of the establishment of the Housing Partnership Development Corporation (NYC Housing Partnership) at a gala luncheon in Manhattan on Thursday, November 10.
The Guest of Honor at the NYC Housing Partnership 34th Anniversary Luncheon will be Congressman Steve Israel.
In its 34 year history the NYC Housing Partnership has helped to facilitate the development of more than 50,000 new and renovated affordable units of workforce housing throughout New York City.
"The NYC Housing Partnership is a national model of a successful public/private intermediary, having leveraged State and City funds to stimulate over $6 billion in construction financing and mortgage lending from the private sector for low and moderate income NYC households,” said Dan Martin, President and CEO of the NYC Housing Partnership.
"We are pleased to contribute to achieving Mayor Bill de Blasio’s ten-year goal of 200,000 preserved or newly constructed affordable units," said Mr. Martin.
“We are proud to celebrate 34 years as a significant factor in creating workforce housing throughout the City,” said Mr. Martin.
“Our November 10 Gala offers an opportunity to look ahead to meeting the challenges of expanding quality affordable housing for working New Yorkers,” he said.
