Developers, bankers, affordable housing advocates, public officials and others committed to the mission of expanding affordable housing in New York, will gather to celebrate the 36th anniversary of the establishment of the Housing Partnership Development Corporation (NYC Housing Partnership) at a gala luncheon in Manhattan on Thursday, November 8.
Preet Bharara, former US Attorney for the Southern District of New York, will be the Special Guest Speaker at the NYC Housing Partnership 36th Anniversary Luncheon. He has been featured on the cover of TIME magazine and was named as one of their “100 Most Influential People in the World.” Since 2017 he has served as a Distinguished Scholar in Residence at the NYU School of Law and launched a podcast dedicated to issues of justice and fairness.
Eric Enderlin, President of the New York City Housing Development Corporation, will moderate a Q&A discussion with Mr. Bharara.
“We are excited to have Mr. Bharara share his timely insights on current events at our anniversary luncheon,” said Dan Martin, President & CEO of the Housing Partnership.
“Eric Enderlin’s participation is a valuable part of the November 8 event,” he said.
Since 1982 the non-profit NYC Housing Partnership has played an integral role in the development of more than 70,000 new and renovated affordable housing units throughout New York City.
"The NYC Housing Partnership is a national model of a successful public/private intermediary, having leveraged over $6 billion in public and private sector funds to stimulate construction and mortgage financing for workforce housing in the five boroughs,” said Mr. Martin.
